Tennessee is located in the southern Unites States. Its known as the “Volunteer State” and earned that nickname during the War of 1812 because their volunteer soldiers played a key role in the Battle of New Orleans. There are three regions in Tennessee, they include:

Fog is also a common problem and especially in the Smoky Mountains.
